17.01.2022 Good Morning over the next week you may receive a phone call from school asking about your employment status and educational level. We are asking these questions because these 2 things impact HOW MUCH FUNDING WE GET FOR OUR KIDS AND LEARNING PROGRAMS. If your occupation or education level is entered incorrectly we get LESS FUNDING FOR OUR KIDS. Thanks for helping us get AS MUCH FUNDING AS POSSIBLE FOR OUR KIDS AND THEIR LEARNING. Mel x

15.01.2022 Hi All, Today marks the last day of Kris Mott’s 39 year career. Kris has been a committed, caring and dedicated educator who has changed the lives of many, many children over the past 39 years. She has been an outstanding Deputy here at Aldinga for the last 4 years and outstanding in leadership for the last 7.... She had been a curriculum leader in the south for many years before arriving for her second stint at Aldinga. Kris has taught in such a vast range of schools. She started her career at Fraser Park in Murray Bridge, then went over to Port Lincoln and on return to Adelaide taught at South Downs in the north, Seaford in the south before finding her true ‘home’ further south at Aldinga and Myponga. Aldinga Beach B-7 School has been enriched by Kris’ presence over the past 7 years. I have become a better educator and leader because of her support, guidance, openness and friendship. Kris can end her a career knowing that she has changed lives and made a difference. Big thanks Kris. Enjoy your retirement adventures. Mel xx

08.01.2022 Hi everyone , We know it’s been a long journey with COVID and many sacrifices have been made. From next week starting Monday parents/carers will be allowed on site for pick up in the afternoons. This will mean all classes will finish at 3pm. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE DEPT REQUIRES US TO ENSURE THAT ALL PARENTS/CARERS SOCIALLY DISTANCE. ... Please do this or we will have to go back to not having parents/carers on site for afternoon pick up and we don’t want this. We want you on site so please keep your social distance in the afternoons for pick up. Thanks Mel x
