22.01.2022 With Telehealth Rebate for Phone consultation now available, Our Doctors will call you at your scheduled booked time slot and he/she can access you over the phone and we can fax your scripts to your Pharmacy and referrals to your specialist and discuss results on phone. If examination or follow up appointment is needed, we will make suitable arrangements for face to face consultation. All consultations will be bulk billed. Work cover and Chronic disease management plans (Care Plans) can also be achieved through phone consults. Phone consultation appointments can be booked online on Hotdoc or you can call our reception staff at 8528 9805 to book a time slot for phone consultation.

19.01.2022 While the Global public health messaging urges people to stay home to save lives, it is important to understand one of the key exemptions is medical treatment. And this does not apply only to people with COVID-19 symptoms. Aldinga Day and Night Surgery is urging people not to disregard chronic health conditions due to the corona-virus pandemic. We encourage you to consult health professionals particularly if you are someone with a chronic health condition as it is essential f...or you to continue to seek medical care routinely. We understand it is a very anxious time and you might be choosing to stay away for fear of catching corona virus but we want to assure our patients that it is still safe to consult with the GP and take advantage of the additional health measures brought in by GP's, including Telehealth consultations. To minimize risks to staff and patients, we are offering Telehealth appointments via phone. Aldinga Day and Night Surgery encourage our patients to book a Telehealth consultation to make sure that you're receiving the care you need during this really difficult time. There will be times when a telephone conference is not suitable, such as when your doctor needs to perform a physical examination and in that case If you do need to attend clinic in person, you should be assured we taking additional precautions to prevent the spread of infection during this time.

12.01.2022 We encourage people to book for a Telehealth consult who are more vulnerable to the severe effects of COVID-19. Currently, Telehealth medicare rebate is available for following patients: - people over 70... - Indigenous and aged at least 50 years old - pregnant women, - parents of children under 12 months - Immune compromised -Have a chronic medical condition that results in increased risk from coronavirus infection e.g Asthma, Diabetes, Hypertension. Please note that patient must have been to the practice for face-to-face consultation at least once in the previous 12 months beside above eligibility criteria. With Eligible Telehealth appointment,we can fax scripts to your pharmacy and referrals to your specialist and discuss results on phone.
