20.01.2022 At the Kodomo ni Hi festival today and watching a number of performers... it is really highlighting the importance of engaging with your audience. There are some excellent performances entirely missing any vocal engagement, eye contact and smiles. Many performers don't lift their heads the entire time they're on stage. How much more entertaining would they be with some engagement with the audience! When on stage, don't just speak. Speak to your audience. See them and invite them to join you by sharing eye contact, gestures and smiles!

20.01.2022 At tonight’s Aldinga Toastmasters meeting we were privileged to have some very special guests all the way from Beijing, China. Loved their willingness to get involved and have a go at impromptu speaking.

18.01.2022 A number of us dressed up tonight for a fun night with Halloween theme and a reverse meeting!!! Reverse meetings are a challenge because the evaluations define how we do our speeches later during the night!
