23.01.2022 Our tiny little unfunded charity Alecomm Foodbank and Essentials Service for Alice Springs is seeking some assistance with pickup and deliver of bedding to various clients who need these items. We deliver food, hygeine supplies, clothing and other necessities four days a week to the indigenous communities and other people in need, but do not have a tow-ball or trailer for these large items which will make a huge difference in someone elses life. We have 20 double beds, 10 single beds, 10 chairs for delivery to two homes in Ilpeye Ilpeye, a house in Larapinta, units and houses in the Gap, and a few houses in Abbott Camp. ANY SUPPORT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

23.01.2022 This morning we delivered to the church food table, Old Timers, Kunoth and Drive-In Camps. How beautiful are these pups from Kunoth, they’re going to make awesome guard dogs.

22.01.2022 Today we visited Larapinta camp & were cleaned out before we left - except for the hot cross buns. There’s elderly ladies living in the scrub who flagged us down for food & toiletries ... 21.01.2022 Saturday was Huge. We delivered to camps north, east and central. Warlpiri, Bassos, Mt Nancy, Charles CR, Hoppy’s, Anmatyerre, Ilpeye Ilpeye, Hidden Valley, Abbott Camp and some indigenous housing in Eastside and The Gap.

18.01.2022 This morning we delivered to Ilpeye Ilpeye and Hidden Valley, and disbursed the last of the big toiletry bags from Pinchapoo. They we’re very well received. The pic below is one of our foodbank clients who is an amazing artist - as demonstrated by the beautiful artwork he’s doing on his home.

12.01.2022 Tuesday we delivered to Warlpiri, Mt Nancy, Hoppy’s, Charles Creek and Anmatyerre and a few local houses. There was lots of donuts and pizza bread today, the kids visiting from out of town were absolutely rapt with the goodies they got.

04.01.2022 Today (Sunday 2nd February), we delivered to the south camps, Kunoth, Karnte, Drive-In and Little Sisters. And it was great to see that the Todd River is finally running after a few days of rain.

04.01.2022 A tonne of bread and other goodies for Ilpeye Ilpeye, Abbott and Little Sisters camp. The best part of Foodbank is chatting with all the lovely people I’ve met over the past 18 months - t’s really uplifting for the soul.

02.01.2022 Today (Tuesday 4 February) we delivered to Gap Rd units, the Youth Centre, the Church table and Little Sisters Camp. Due to the change in weather over the past few days, some of the older ladies in the camps are asking for jumpers. We also handed out toiletries to the locals from our mates at Pinchapoo.
