18.01.2022 My submission to #colour4life Faber-Castell using Polychromos coloured pencils. I bought these exact pencils from @melbourneartsupplies Hampton East a few years ago. Polychromos remain my go to for detailed work. . . I interpreted the colour 4 life brief to tie into what society is dealing with today. I moved out of Melbourne a few months before covid hit and now watch from afar, as my friends deal with the real threat of their own safety and the safety of the vulnerable. We can all get through this together!

17.01.2022 Can anyone else relate to this? I've been struggling a bit with motivation. When you're a freelance illustrator, or a small business owner even, everything is on you to do it all. Sales, social media, production manager. But the biggest one is self motivator and cheerleader! That's hard at the best of times, but just gotta keep believin'

17.01.2022 A beautiful commission for a beautiful person @cassandrajw thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture this gorgeous pups personality in a custom illustration. She sadly will be missed

07.01.2022 Harlequin Shrimp. Can't say I've ever seen a drawing of this beauty before! These are real creatures that are found up the East African coast across to Australia and NZ over to Hawaii. They live off starfish and grow up to 50mm in length . . . Thanks to my bro, the aquaculturalist, who recommended this subject. Trust him to know of obscure cool things for me to draw.

06.01.2022 This one is my contribution to the @livingwithkoalas 100 artworks for Koalas The concept is 100 Australian artists are to provide original artwork, featuring a koala, eucalyptus or bush fires, juxtaposing these worlds together, from the cuteness of the koala to the devastation of the bushfires and the importance of maintaining the habitat for the koalas to thrive in The originals are to sold at auction in the US and then limited edition prints go on to form a travelling exhibition throughout 2021 The funds acquired are helped to fund the koala food tree nurturing and plant programme. Every item sold buys at least one koala fruit tree to be planted where koalas need them most Head to their socials to check them out!

04.01.2022 Yay! I can now share a commission I've been working on with you Thanks @alicelaslett for allowing me to draw your lovely family again. I hope you liked it @heavenonahanger ! Alice told me this photo was taken on the old train from Tantanoola to Mount Gambier . Such a lovely gift for a loved one Drawn using @fabercastellaustralia polychromos and @carandache luminance
