Vitamin E, Omegas 3s, Zinc all play an important role in reducing inflammation and oxidative stress to eye cells. 21.01.2022 I often use cupping during treatments and find it an effective and relaxing technique for reducing sensitivity around stubborn areas such as shoulder blades and the illo-tibial band (ITB). Gliding the cups along myo-fascial lines or meridians, or keeping them stationary on trigger points or acupressure points are two ways of using them. Imagine if all Governments considered research into CAM therapies to be as important to fund as conventional medicine. Lack of reliable research has been used as a reason to not consider various natural therapies as useful, as seen in last years removal of some natural therapies from Private Health rebates. 10.01.2022 Revising for a Homeopathy exam later this week I have been reminded of Primary and Secondary Actions of medicines. In short the Primary action is the main action initially caused by the medication, however a Secondary action or rebound reaction (vital reaction) will occur to bring back homeostasis. Using the secondary or rebound action to train the body to self heal is dependant on strength of the medicine. Small stimuli (homeopathic remedies) encourage this secondary reaction where as large stimuli (medications, herbs, food) cause the primary action.

04.01.2022 I dont have enough time. A suggested psychological concept on time is that it slows down when we are processing new information. Try doing something different rather than more of the same.
