23.01.2022 PROJECT WARRAWEE SYDNEY With a brief to incorporate an oversized barn door, AMI saw an opportunity to include this design detail into the kitchen and casual living/dining area of the room. The original opening to the kids bedrooms, laundry and bathroom was moved over to the LHS to allow for a new kitchen island to replace the existing U-Shaped kitchen. We jazzed up the living space by replacing the floors, painting the existing timber stained skirtings and installing wainscotting throughout. This decision improved spacial flow throughout, kitchen functionality and maximised the views out to the al fresco dining. I would say the clients now have a beautiful backdrop behind their casual dining space wouldn't you say...! @ Warrawee, New South Wales, Australia

23.01.2022 It's great to keep in touch with the people of my hometown Coffs Harbour and the greater Mid North Coast Region. I feel fortunate to have had such a positive upbringing in a coastal town and it only brings me great joy to be able to service the area from Sydney and offering my skills and expertise to the local community. 23.01.2022 PROJECT WARRAWEE SYDNEY The kitchen was reworked at our Warrawee Project in Upper North Shore Sydney to improve work flow and optimise storage and functionality. The existing corner pantry was demolished to create an island kitchen. With every design, there is always a different brief to meet. This brief called to reuse the clients fridge but future plan ahead by creating a larger fridge cavity to accommodate a new french door fridge in time. We reused the clients existi...ng cook top and purchased new integrated appliances. As you can see from the before photos we replaced floors, designed new joinery, removed old curtain pelmets and replaced old sliding doors with new. What I particularly love about this kitchen is how the colour of the blue joinery changes throughout the day from natural sunlight. 15.01.2022 PROJECT WARRAWEE SYDNEY The brief to this Adults Retreat room was to create an intimate private space that was separate from the other areas of the home. The interior was designed to invite you to enjoy a drink by the bar, play a game of pool and watch the next rugby game on the big screen. Tile flooring was ready replaced with carpet, wainscotting continued into the adult retreat and full height joinery finished in Dulux Bouyant Blue Polyurethane was designed to run acr...oss the length of the room, that provided ample storage, bar amenities, TV and lounge nook. 09.01.2022 PROJECT WARRAWEE, SYDNEY The journey to photograph this family home in Warrawee, is one I’ll never forget! The challenge was working with a half furnished home and also being my first professional shoot for AMI. Where this time you're not the one behind the lens trying to photograph your own work just to save your pennies. And of course take the pressure off execution that you place on yourself when you are creative. The results wouldn’t have been possible without enga...ging the photographer I did, who really pushed me out of my comfort zone to pound the pavement and told me to be the designer I want to be now. Admittedly I felt intimated by the industry and out of my league but I look back and can’t believe how many new relationships I made through asking what I believed to be the impossible. I thank the suppliers who got behind me and showed their support, my stylist, photographer and personal assistant, the building team who took a gamble on me and gave me a solid go, joiner, girlfriends, family, my incredible husband and dream clients! A project isn’t enjoyable unless you have a passionate team that works together, love their jobs, are hard workers and deliver only the best for their clients. Thanks team! 01.01.2022 PROJECT COFFS HARBOUR KITCHEN RENOVATION It's been a long patient wait, as works were parked as a result of Covid. Excited to say the least things are about to kick off in Coffs Harbour. Starting with this elegant kitchen renovation, that has been signed off and approved by clients.
