25.01.2022 The band and choir camp students had some free time this afternoon to relax in the pool and create a whirlpool which they had lots of fun doing. They then enjoyed a divine afternoon tea of freshly baked banana cake with a yummy chocolate sauce!

24.01.2022 We use Alexandra Park Conference Centre every year for our Year 12 Retreat. The staff are very helpful and the information provided makes planning streamlined and efficient. The facilities are great, especially for our big group, and the food is plentiful. I recommend this location to other schools looking for a venue for large groups. We would love to say thank you to each and every pe...rson who cam and supported the Summer Carnival and had some fun! A big thank you to Benoni and the team from Alexandra Park Conference Centre, Ashley and the team from Alex Surf Club., Councilor Joe Natoli, Josie at Alexandra Headland Community Association Inc, the many departments and staff at Sunshine Coast Council who we work with to make this event happen, Brani at local radio station Hot 91, Sophie at 7NEWS Sunshine Coast and Amy at ABC Sunshine Coast and all our food vendors along with Marketeers from our SUMMER NIGHT MARKET POPUP we thank you all for being with us through the rain and soggy weather + plus the awesome Fireworks night that finally happened third time lucky, thanks to Max at Skylighter Fireworks. To those who entertained you, we say thanks for being part of the carnival we hope you had fun - Ringo Magician, 3 Ponies Petting Farm, Chomper the T-rex, Fantastic Sam, Mira our fire dancer and all our Music Artists.. thank you! Importantly to our ride operators and all our staff - thank you for all your support and teamwork throughout this event over the past 6 weeks, especially al the letter box drops each time we tried for fireworks. We will be back next year with a bigger and better program. For now it's pack down. You will start to see the site packing down and moving to our next location. Where to next? 18.01.2022 "We held our Year 12 retreat at Alex Park in late July. We were the first group the venue has hosted since March. They were very excited to have us and we were excited and grateful to be able to give the Year 12 students their much anticipated retreat, which was meant to be held in Term 1 and for some time we all thought might not go ahead. The staff at Alex Park remain generous and hospitable as always. They are very well prepared for hosting groups in this current climat...e and have a very comprehensive COVID Safe Plan. It was very easy to fit in with the requirements of the plan. They regularly clean points of regular contact (door handles etc.) and made sure our students knew and understood the new procedures. Meal times are when the changes are most obvious but not at all disruptive or inconvenient. The meals were fabulous! I hope you enjoy the time at Alex Park. I have every confidence you will." 14.01.2022 #TestimonialTuesday All Hallows’ School has brought our Year 7 cohort to Alexandra Park Conference Centre for the last few years. I have nothing but praise for them. The booking processes and assistance with special requests is always met with a friendly response. We use all of the accommodation and it is always neat and tidy. We need some special requirements around accommodation to cater for our large numbers and this is always done with a smile. The grounds and meeting rooms have always met our needs. 13.01.2022 Having to close our doors temporarily due to COVID-19 restrictions was hard (as it has been for many) but the improvements and renovations we have been able to finish during this downtime from looking after our guests look fantastic. 12.01.2022 Recently, the QLD Chief Health Officer and Premier announced the cancellation of Schoolies public events, among other restrictions. The good news for SU-Schooli...es Sunny Coast is we have a Covid Safe Plan for our event, which we’ve developed in conjunction with Alexandra Park Conference Centre. This will allow us to proceed under the appropriate Industry Action Plan. While this plan includes a cap on participants and restrictions on some activities, rest assured we are putting together a program that will allow you to still have the time of your life as you celebrate finishing your 12 years of schooling with your peers. So grab your friends and book with us before we fill and celebrate the finishing of school.
