25.01.2022 Tuesdays are pilates day here at PhysioINQ Alexandria! If you answer YES to any of the following questions come join us every Tuesday at 6pm! -Are your shoulders tight? ... -Are you sitting down on an office chair all day? -Looking for a cost effective way to increase range of motion and flexibility and dont have any fancy equipment? -Do you want to learn how to do a wall stretch? Lets do it ~ Instructions Start by standing facing a wall and placing both hands on the wall, with your feet hip width apart and have your arms straight forming a 90 degree angle with your body. Initiate the movement by bringing your hips backwards and pushing your torso downwards until you feel the stretch in your shoulders. Hold this position for 15-30 seconds and slowly stand up and repeat 10-12 times, to get that great limber and mobile feeling. Remember to breath out as you bring your hips backwards and torso downward keeping you neck and shoulders relaxed. The purpose of this exercise is to loosen up the shoulder muscles, increase flexibility and range of motion. #physio #physioinq #redfern #zetland #waterloo #physioinqalexandria #physioinq
