Thank you Keith Pitt for the email update A Jobs Hub has been set up to connect businesses looking for workers and help move people looking for work more quickly. If you are hiring, or needing to increase your workforce quickly you can email the Workforce Contact Centre on [email protected]. 01.01.2022 Dear Friends & family, I am saddened to hear of the current pain that our young neighbour is enduring and amazed at the price not just monetary, but physiologically as well as psychologically this young 21 year old is enduring. Connor and his family were one of the first families we met when we first arrived in Childers. ... We became great friends with them. - Being part of my first birthday bash - as I turned 40, even meeting the extended family that was visiting - They would bring their horses down to our farm for our kids to ride. - They were involved with our wedding: Connor's Dad reversing the tractor down our driveway with my Matron of Honour and myself standing on the hay deck; Connor and his twin brother helping with the catering and serving down the driveway. - They offered advice and assistance with our early farming practices We wish Connor all the best for his surgery and the opportunity to complete his carpentry trade, have a family of his own, travel the world and fulfil any other dreams that he pursues. He truly is a caring young man, a gentle giant and if you are able to help with even the smallest of donations towards their goal for surgery, I, as their family, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity. <3
