23.01.2022 The Alexandra Hills Football Club is pleased to announce that Tom Henwood has been appointed Senior Assistant Coach for the 2021 QFA season. Tom has been coaching Redland-Victoria Point Sharks Colts for the past three seasons taking them to 3 consecutive Grand Finals & winning the 2019 Premiership. Tom is excited about coming back to his home club and is looking forward to be able to continue his development as a senior coach. Tom also express his delight in being back and given the opportunity to reconnect with family & friends at the Bombers

20.01.2022 Alexandra Hills AFC like to thank Redland City Council and Councillor Rowanne McKenzie for providing funding via the Mayor and Councillor's Community Benefit Fund to purchase a new security system for our club house. We would also like to thank the Glenn and Joel Ambachtsheer for the project design, management and installation. Thank you also to the volunteers that helped over numerous Saturdays.

12.01.2022 Due to the current restrictions, the annual general meeting of Alexandra Hills Australian Football Club was postponed until such time that the social distancing restrictions would allow our members to attend. The annual general meeting of Alexandra Hills Australian Football Club will be held at Keith Surridge Park, 8-10 Windermere Road, Alexandra Hills, Qld 4161 on Sunday, 19th July 2020 at 2.00pm. (Conditional on Qld Government introducing stage 3 restrictions) The Board ...will be presenting a resolution to amend the constitution to allow players and coaches to be directors of the company. The Board believes playing and/or coaching members with relevant skills should not be excluded. Please see Notice of Annual General Meeting, Director Nomination Form, Form of Proxy and Resolution of the Members The Board encourages any persons interested in becoming a board member to contact Mick Bloye on 0438 175 033 or [email protected] to discuss roles and responsibilities. 12.01.2022 The Alexandra Hills Football Club is pleased to announce that Tim Flood has been appointed Reserve Coach for the 2021 QFA season. After a 10 year playing career at Edithvale Aspendale in Victoria, Tim coached their Reserve Grade side to a Premiership in his first year as Coach. When he moved to Queensland Tim became involved at Alex Hills and has coached Junior, Youth and Colts teams at the Club for the past 13 seasons, with 2 teams winning Premierships at Under 12 and Under ...16 levels. Tim has a passion for developing young footballers and was awarded Queensland AFL Youth Coach of the Year in 2017. After spending this past season assisting the Seniors, Tim is looking forward to coaching the Reserves, particularly helping develop the younger players for Senior football. See more

07.01.2022 On Saturday evening Redlands Community Connections held a free community movie night on the Alexandra Hills AFL ground. The local AFL season kicks off on the 14th of March and as a consequence, there will be no non-AFL related activities held on the Alexandra Hills AFL ground between now and the end of the football season.
