It seems like an age has passed since we boldly declared we were staying open and looking forward to seeing some of you in the coming months. The acceleration of events in the last week we can all agree has been unprecedented and the world is a more uncertain place now than it was a week ago. 07.01.2022 And finally here is Sofia, Alex Hotels Food and Beverage Manager. #iwd2020 I have a 9 month old baby and was able to go back to work 5 months ago with a very balanced schedule that allowed me to do my job at Alex without missing any part of motherhood. I feel privileged to be part of a team that supports personal, social and gender equality and doesnt consider motherhood a luxury choice. Its great that womens presence in the industry is finally gaining recognition but I am still one of the few lucky ones to find balance between work and family. The working world overall still has a long way to go.
