25.01.2022 This was a truly special moment that I’ve waited a long time to capture. In this spot we would be stoked to encounter a manta ray, but yesterday we were even more blessed to see this humpback whale in the shallows. Sharing this moment with a great group of people on Coral Bay Ecotours made it even more amazing Carnarvon Visitor Centre Australia's Coral Coast Western Australia

24.01.2022 If you like rays then Heron Island is the place to be! In this image a pink whipray rides the back of a cownose ray, whilst a white spotted eagle ray cruises by. Has anybody seen this behaviour where another ray sits on the back of another? Shooting with Nikon & Aquatica Digital

22.01.2022 Last week Jake Wilton Photo and I were fortunate enough to visit the beautiful Kalbarri National Park on Australia's Coral Coast. Here is a short edit I put together of our day exploring. The park is over 186,000 hectares that includes the Murchison river gorge, ancient landscape and towering coastal cliffs. The park also includes the new Kalbarri Skywalk tourism precint sitting 100m above the Murchison River. ... #kalbarrinationalpark #coralcoast #thisisWA #wanderoutyonder #seeaustralia #australiascoralcoast @westernaustralia @australia

18.01.2022 A whale shot that I’ve trying to take for a while whilst waiting for the right conditions. On this day we had beautiful glassy water and a couple of whales that consistently swam next to the boat. After almost dunking the camera in the water I came away with a series of images that I was stoked with. Next up is the image of a full whale breach Shooting with Nikon On tour with Coral Bay Ecotours

17.01.2022 Yesterday was one of the most epic experiences of my life! We went out on a sunrise whale watching tour with Coral Coast Helicopter Services in Carnarvon. Cruising in a helicopter at sunrise and photographing dozens of humpback breaching and playing in the water. Its a photography dream and I’m still pinching myself. 14.01.2022 A memorable day on the Ningaloo. It definitely wasn’t the best visibility and it was overcast for most of the day, but we had some next level encounters! Probably the most memorable moment was having two inquisitive humpback whales that continued to circle the group. At one moment I stopped taking photos as one of the whales just sitting there watching us motionless. After the whale encounters we found a beautiful melanistic reef manta that cruised the sand flats. 06.01.2022 I’m thrilled and proud to share that I was awarded 3rd place in the 2020 International Photography Awards for Nature / Underwater category ‘Golden Medusa’ The Papuan jellyfish (Mastigias papua), nicknamed the Golden Medusa, photographed at night in Raja Ampat. I saw these jellyfish in a jellyfish lake whilst on recent dive trip in Raja Ampat. We visited the area in the late afternoon and due to a saltwater crocodile sighting in the area only days before, we weren’t able to s...wim in the water. The subject was stunning and I knew I wanted to try photograph the jellies in darkness. Later that night, I organised another mission to return to the location. No swimming allowed, I was able to get this shot by hanging my body over the side of the boat while my mates Rhys James and Jake Wilton Photo watched for any possible croc.
