21.01.2022 A few weeks ago, before new restrictions, I had the pleasure of wondering around the Braeside Park in Melbourne where I got some shots of these birds. A beautiful Maned Duck specimen wondering around the park, a Chestnut Teal in one of the ponds with three others relaxing on some logs, the very intricate legs of the Eurasian Coot that remind me of some Sci-Fi movie and a Noisy Maner on the vast grassy gardens. Pentax K3II, Pentax D FA 150-450mm f/4.5-5.6 DC AW Lens

20.01.2022 While practising "Social Distancing" and working from home for some time, not being able to take any sports photos or wonder parks to capture some of what nature has to offer, I have been in the back yard, keeping an eye of the rose bushes and taking different shots of the beautiful rose buds as well as capturing some of the little creatures "On the Web". Some of these are after the rain while others had some help (hosing down a bit or a lot ). Hope you enjoy.

19.01.2022 Great day for some bird photography at the RBG in Cranbourne. From Little Wattlebirds to New Holland Honeyeaters and Spinebill Honeyeaters, there was a lot of action happening. Taken with Pentax K1, Pentax 150-450 F4.5 - 5.6.

18.01.2022 Here are some shots from yesterday's walk at the Wilson Botanic Park in Berwick. Was looking for bird life but it seems that they self isolated themselves as well so had to take was I was given. Pentax K1, Pentax 150-450 and Pentax 100mm Macro F/2.8

17.01.2022 Sunday was not the best day for the Ranges team who were defeated by PEGS SC with a score of 7:0. Great game from everyone.

17.01.2022 Found a group of friendly Eurasian Coots that were happy with letting me get a few close shots.

16.01.2022 The last game on Sunday was between the Rangers and Melbourne Uni senior teams. The final score was 4:0 to Melbourne Uni after an action packed afternoon. Congrats to the winning team.

16.01.2022 Some photos taken recently at the Berwick Springs Park (first two) and at the Lysterfield lake. These were taken with the Pentax K1 and Pentax 150-450 mm f4.5-5.6 lens.

15.01.2022 Playing with B&W photos inspired by a Photo Assignment from Ted Forbes on his "The Art Of Photography" YouTube channel and Thomas Heaton "In My Garage.." video. Not exactly what I was trying to achieve but will keep on working. Thank you. Ted Forbes :: The Art of Photography Thomas Heaton Photography

13.01.2022 A wet game last Thursday 8th of August at the Springvale City's home ground where the final score ended up being 1:1. Well done to both teams and hope that next time I take photos in the day time :)

13.01.2022 After a small mess up with my files, I have managed to recover and process these photos from the friendly game between Frankston Pines and St Kilda Celts that I took on the 8th of Feb this year. This was great game on a fantastic pitch at the Frankston Pines home ground on a warm clear evening. Well done to both teams.

12.01.2022 Had another go at this shot from Princess Pier in Melbourne that I took on a field trip with the Casey Camera Club in June last year. This is an iconic place that never stops attracting photographers with its vast span of pylons that stretch across the distance. Hope you enjoy this photo.

12.01.2022 Here is some of the action on the water last Sunday at the Moomba Festival.

11.01.2022 An action packed quarter final last Sunday between the Rangers and Vukovar that went to extra time and penalties with a final score of 2 (0) - (3) 2 to Vukovar. Congratulations to everyone for a great game

06.01.2022 Sorry for the late upload but been rather busy. Here are the photos of the action packed game between the Rangers and PEGS SC on Sunday 4th of August where the final score was 1:3 to the PEGS.. Well done everyone.

05.01.2022 Last weekend I spent some time wondering around the Australia Garden Botanical Garden and came across some very cooperative New Holland Honeyeaters and European Goldfinch as well as a Common Bronzewing Pigeon and some flowers in bloom with the endless supply of bees. It was a great time outdoors after so many months unable to take the camera for a run. All photos were taken with the Pentax K3II and the Pentax HD D FA 150-450mm f/4.5-5.6 ED DC AW Lens

04.01.2022 Yesterday was a fantastic day for this annual event to raise funds to worthwhile charities. A colourful array of daredevils wanting to cross the Yarra and even make it to the MCG. Not only the crafts, pilots and crews made their presence but we also had a representation from the protesters "Extinction Rebellion" crew - good on you guys.... Hope you enjoy these photos that will definitely give you a good insight on the action happening at the river.

04.01.2022 A few weeks ago I went to the Wilson Botanic Park in Berwick and took some photos of the flora and fauna on the day. Photos taken with Pentax K1 and K3ii with Pentax D-FA 100mm Macro f/2.8 WR and Pentax D-FA 150-450mm f/4.5-5.6 ED DC AW.

04.01.2022 I was glad to have taken photos of this year’s Birdman rally and completely stoked to have one of those photos published on issue 203 of The Parkes Phoenix. Thank you.

01.01.2022 On Sunday 19th of January I had the privilege to take part in the Bush-fire Appeal organised by the North Melbourne Athletic FC and the Footscray United Rangers Football Club. The money raise was for The Trustee for Volunteer Fire Brigades Victoria Welfare Fund. The day was expected to be cloudy and wet, with a change coming in at around midday but it turned out to be a magnificent day with little to no clouds. ... The day also provide some exiting matches between the two clubs as you can see by the photos of the action on the pitch. Thanks to all the sponsors, players and spectators for their time and donation to this worthy cause and thank you to Nathan, the Rangers president for for the opportunity to get involved in the event. Thanks everyone.
