Here is a list of available government initiatives: - $20k Tasmanian Builders Grant and $25k Federal Builders Grant (Total of $45k available) https://www.sro.tas.gov.au//HomeBuilder-grants-guideline.p - $20k First Home Owners Grant (FHOG) https://www.sro.tas.gov.au/Documents/FHOG-Guideline17.pdf... - $10k First Home Loan Deposit Scheme (FHLDS) https://www.nhfic.gov.au/what-we-do/fhlds/ - $30k First Home Super Saver Scheme (FHSSS) https://www.ato.gov.au//wit/first-home-super-saver-scheme/ - Tasmanian Stamp Duty Concession for First Home Buyers (Can save up to $7k) https://www.sro.tas.gov.au//concessions-and-exemptions-for Each governement scheme/grant has it's own unique eligibility requirements. For example, some only apply to first home buyers, some only apply to principle place of residence and not Investment properties, some only apply to construction/new homes or existing properties, and some only apply to properties with a value under $400k. Can I apply for multiple government grants and schemes? Yes, you can if you’re eligible. For example, an eligible first home buyer can technically apply for and qualify for the FHOG, the FHLDS, and the HomeBuilder grant while getting a 50% discount on stamp duty.
