24.01.2022 14 Days to go: a trip down memory lane for us would never be complete without a look at some of our many window displays. Can you imagine the image bank for this - on average a new window every month for 17 years - that’s over 200 window displays! So many times we got our craft on and cut out signs, made posters, messed the entire shop up and did whatever we could to make our windows stand out and be a reflection of us and the store. Coming up with window displays was the most fun part of the job, people always commented on them and it makes me so happy to look back at our most creative moments. 24.01.2022 18 Days to go: We’ve missed a few days of ‘trips down memory lane’ because to be honest, it’s quite difficult to sort through so many memories...very emotional! One of the things I love the most is how many times we’ve taken pics of our friends and family in the shop throughout the years. These are pictures are just what I have in my phone and a drop in the ocean - more to come! Some of these babies are bigger kids now!! Our family and friends have always supported us in our lives and at the shop, many of them helping out when we were stuck for staff and being there for us through the good times and bad. 20.01.2022 22 days to go: this trip down memory lane is about our beautiful friend @tatianaikasovic who over the years has appeared in countless images for Alfie’s Friend Rolfe. We met Tatiana when she was just 15 years old, shopping at our store for a dress with her mum. She is an amazingly clever person and over the years we struck up a friendship. One day we asked her to do some modelling for us and the rest is history, the camera loves her as much as we do. Fast forward to now and T...atiana is definitely not 15 anymore( we went to her wedding a few years ago!!!), living her best life in LA and still visits us when she’s in town. Tatiana selflessly spent hours with us while Catalina dressed her up and made her take a million shots in a million different outfits. 16.01.2022 9 Days to go: a trip down memory lane with us - Catalina and Kyle. We’ve been here in our little shop for over 17 years and we have loved it - the good times and bad, the crap days and the boom times, the good designs and the questionable ones. We’ve loved providing beautiful clothes and hopefully top service. Most of all we’ve loved the people we’ve met - the locals who became our friends, the people who supported us and those from far and wide. Here’s some happy snaps from us inside our store. 02.01.2022 22 days to go: this trip down memory lane is not even about our actual store, it’s about the iconic Le Petit Creme. This Darlinghurst institution and was directly across the road from us for years. We could see our front door and through the windows into our shop if we sat outside in the sun, so it quickly became our unofficial office. It closed several years ago, but we still miss the eggs benedict, baguettes and those frites!! Hands up if you remember this place #alfiesfriendrolfe #endofanera @ Le Petit Creme
