20.01.2022 Dear ARDS members, The Society for Prevocational Surgeons is a new collaborative surgical society in Victoria. A group of consultants, registrars and junior doctors from multiple hospital networks in Victoria, who have come together to address the lack of an independent representative body for those wishing to pursue a surgical career. The aim is to represent the interests of all surgically-minded junior doctors and medical students throughout Victoria and create a community ...that empowers, encourages, and inspires. This page will serve as a community forum, where all surgical events, resources, news and general tips and tricks will be shared. https://www.facebook.com/Society-for-Prevocational-Surgeons-106181608141708

09.01.2022 Our Enterprise Agreement (EBA) is due for renegotiation next year, and AMA Victoria wants to hear from Junior Doctors about what should be changed, negotiated, or retained. The meeting last week has been rescheduled for this coming Wednesday 25th November 2020. We recognize it is quite difficult to attend with our clinical duties, and we strongly encourage all to participate in this discussion as the outcome may have a lasting impact on junior doctor employment terms an...d conditions in Victoria. To have your say, register for this Zoom meeting at: https://zoom.us//regi/tJ0uf--tqj0qG92bhMFzKLq9Chu4qb3xzdrr. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
