25.01.2022 Something NEW is coming....

23.01.2022 Although we never left we are back to business as usual, kind of. As the situation is still fluid closing times over the weekend and next week may vary (if coming late please call ahead). The courtyard is back open from 6pm tonight but due to current restrictions the carriage will remain closed till further notice. Please remember to check in with the safeWA app prior to ordering. Thanks to everyone for your support in these crazy times.

20.01.2022 So after 13 years of service it is with a heavy heart that our two Metters Stoves will tomorrow be put in to retirement. They have served us well and will be greatly missed. They will be replaced with two freshly refurbished new/old Metters Stoves to keep us serving our famous Pea & Ham for the next couple of decades. Unfortunately this means that we will be unable to serve soup tomorrow night (10/09/19) but will be up and running with new stoves the next day.

19.01.2022 UPDATE: ALFREDS WILL STILL REMAIN OPEN! With the new government regulations in place we are forced to shut our carriage and courtyard for dine in.... We have however being doing take away orders for the last 74years and will continue to do so. Placing a phone order will also help with social distancing requirements. 01.01.2022 WE NOW HAVE CHICKEN BURGERS!! To commemorate our 75year anniversary coming in 2021 we are doing something we have never done before... adding a burger to the menu! Our new 100% chicken breast schnitzel comes coated in a seasoned panko crumb and is served in our traditional bun with Aioli, onions and salad (and as many other extras as you want ).
