For us, to have the new seating area up the road will be beneficial because people can go up there and have their lunch and coffee. Once the plants are growing and the road is resurfaced, it will look even better. The works were part of the revitalisation of Morwell’s CBD as part of the Future Morwell project funded by the State and Federal governments. There are new parklets, garden beds, free wifi, a community gathering space in Tarwin Street, LED street lighting, and there will be wireless mobile phone chargers integrated into street furniture.
