24.01.2022 Weekends are for family I'm sure you have heard me say it before but we are big fans of heading out for breakfast as a family on the weekends. Lately, The Helena has come out with me for every trip, I have well and truly road-tested it. The benefits of being the owner of Alf is I get to carry around the samples to make sure they work the way mamas need them to . I have found Helena particularly useful for carrying around A4 drawing books. Its structure an...d hight are perfect for them and wearing it as a backpack helps with the weight they add. 12.01.2022 If you're a time poor mum raise your hand! Recently, I had been struggling to find time to properly nourish my body and instead turning to quicker, unhealthier options. I have since been working with Mollie (who is actually my hubby's cousin!) from @goodegg_nutrition and asked her to share her go-to recipe for time poor mama's like us! This green egg frittata is so easy, delicious but best of all quick! Also head to Mollie's IG to find an Insta reel recipe. Ch...eck it out This Green Egg Frittata ticks all the boxes Not only is it a versatile meal for breaky, lunch or dinner - but is also a great way to sneak in extra greens into your meals (particularly if you have picky kids ) You will need: 6-10 eggs 1/2 cup milk of choice 1.5 cups spinach or kale 1/2 cup frozen peas 2 cups chopped veg (roast these before hands) 50 g feta Salt and pepper to taste Preheat the oven to 160 degrees and line a baking tin. Blend together the kale, milk and eggs until there are no chunks (what greens?!). Lay out all other veg along the baking tin, then pour over egg mixture. Crumble feta on top and season with salt and pepper. Cook in the oven for 40-50 minutes. Serve with a yummy side salad and/or some wholemeal or sourdough toast. Enjoy!
