23.01.2022 Native Garden Restoration - Sat 19th Oct. Algester Cub Pack and Volunteers.

16.01.2022 Sat 19th Oct - A hard working group of ~40 volunteers restored the gardens surrounding the Algester Scout Den, including weathering a midday Qld storm. The area was overrun with Devils Figs - These have been removed and we have planted a range of flowering natives. Huge Thanks to Cr Angela Owen, Brisbane City Council and Oxley Creek Catchment Association for their contributions and advice. Once established, we hope it will provide some welcome shade and nicer views for afternoon school pickups along the new pathway. Algester Primary School, Algester Sports-Club.

16.01.2022 Thank you to Possum who has made a motivational wall for all of our youth! All of these words are what scouting is all about and all can be linked into the Scout Promise and the Scout Law.

15.01.2022 A big Thanks to Pete's Canvas at Marsden for repairing the cover to our trailer

09.01.2022 Yesterday, after everyone had gone I went through the camp ground with the Caretaker, She was very impressed with how clean the grounds where and how clean the hall was and noticed that the floor was mopped. A very big thank you to our parent helpers, and Well Done Algester !!!!
