Julio: & PB - 50 freestyle & PB - 50 backstroke & PB - 50 butterfly & PB - 100 IM And the fantastic news doesn’t stop there. Congratulations to Julio who today qualified for his first state championships. Julio has qualified for not one but two events at next years QLD State Sprint Championships in February. Well done Julio!

19.01.2022 With Queensland Government set to move to Stage 3 from July 11 and likelihood of the approved Swimming Pool & Aquatic Centre Industry Plan to include eased rest...rictions that allow for modified club nights and competitions, Swimming Queensland feel it is now appropriate to provide an update to the 2020 competition schedule. Swimming Queensland Coach Development Director, Drew McGregor, will be hosting an information session to help members understand the planned changes on Wednesday, 24 June at 11:00AM. This session will focus on the amended short course meet dates and development activities and is open to all coaches, athletes, parents and committee members. 08.01.2022 CALLING ALL PARENTS & SPECTATORS Just like all parents and guardians, we really wish that all swimming meets were able to be run the way weve always known them... to. However, this new normal (under COVID-19 restrictions) does result in having to hold all meets as closed events, following physical distancing measures, venue capacities and contact tracing guidelines for the foreseeable future. Based upon each venue, physical distancing requirements will mean that you will be assigned a defined spectator area which may not always be exactly where youd like to sit to catch the action in the pool. Despite these obstacles, we are grateful of being able to resume swimming meets under these new normal circumstances and give Queensland swimmers the opportunity to once again compete and enjoy racing! We sincerely thank you for your support and understanding during this challenging time and hope that you join us in our excitement for the upcoming meets scheduled.
