12.01.2022 The price of excellence is discipline. The cost of mediocrity is disappointment. Discipline is something that will become easier and easier over time as you ...learn to form and maintain good swimming habits and routines. These good swimming habits and routines create disciplined swimmers! While some swimmers wait for motivation to find them, great swimmers who are disciplined get the work done no matter how motivated they are feeling on any given day. Learn to create good swimming habits and routines, and in turn discipline, and you will find the greatness which lies within. See more

08.01.2022 CALLING ALL PARENTS & SPECTATORS Just like all parents and guardians, we really wish that all swimming meets were able to be run the way weve always known them... to. However, this new normal (under COVID-19 restrictions) does result in having to hold all meets as closed events, following physical distancing measures, venue capacities and contact tracing guidelines for the foreseeable future. Based upon each venue, physical distancing requirements will mean that you will be assigned a defined spectator area which may not always be exactly where youd like to sit to catch the action in the pool. Despite these obstacles, we are grateful of being able to resume swimming meets under these new normal circumstances and give Queensland swimmers the opportunity to once again compete and enjoy racing! We sincerely thank you for your support and understanding during this challenging time and hope that you join us in our excitement for the upcoming meets scheduled.

The emphasis in Stage 3 is on group management to limit co-mingling and to allow for targeted contact tracing with the least amount of impact to the event and community. To comply with the Industry Plan, host clubs will have Event Site Maps that clearly show defined areas/spaces and flow in and around the venue. https://brisbane.swimming.org.au/events.aspx?
