24.01.2022 My Bro expressed how he always wanted to do this. Its been a lil dream of his for years. I also had this idea some years ago but didnt know how to go about it. We both shared the same dream. With friends around us making dreams into reality, We got talking and it was obvious to us we need to try at least. Even if we just uncover one or two dope artists from Alice Springs or anywhere else, our mission will be complete. So here it is! Weve had some good feedback on this idea. Plz show some support and watch this space in the next coming weeks ;)

15.01.2022 Alice City Battles is a newly formed Rap battle league in Alice springs NT. We are calling out all MCs Poets, rap battlers and anyone else who thinks that they have what it takes to Battle an opponent live in front of a crowd. Our aim is to give people an outlet to show there skills to the rest of the community. We invite everyone to have a go and will provide a safe environment for all to participate in this amazing and fun sport of Rap Battle. Please send a MSG if you would... like to show interest on performing and battling at our first ever event to be held at a later announced date. We are also wanting to connect to any production guys with camera and recording software to be involved by joint the team and who are willing to records battles at events and also take photos. We hope to grow this movement in Alice springs to start with and see where we can take it so for now all roles will be Voulenteer based but that may change in the future if we can secure a indoor venue to hold events etc. So if you or someone you know has what it takes to step up and battle here in Alice springs tag them here or feel free to contact us directly thru the Page. 09.01.2022 Ok lads so a bit of an Update!! At this stage we have 4 guys who are keen to battle I am looking for Atleast 8 dudes for our first event which I will be holding outdoors to begin with, that will give us 4 battles to start with, if there is more interest then by all means I will be putting on more battles at this 1st event. Aslong as numbers are even then Everyone who wants to battle will get a chance to do so. The way it will work is we will have 3 x 30sec-1min rounds per ...battle, Battles will be Accapela to start with and we can look at doing some battles over beats in the future as we progress but at this stage that's going to be the Configuration. I will be doing the match ups and I will be having 3 independent judges to determine winners of each battle. At this stage will be just 1 battle each on the first event and then moving forward I may run a winner moves forward event where we get 1 winner at the end of the event, this person then will be crowned the Current Champion Untill he is challenged again for the title. 1st event will be held outdoors at a location to be Announced and then hopefully if you MFs are keen and behave yaselfs then I can secure a Venue for future events, this is something I want to keep running long term and for that to happen you lads have to behave in the venues. For our 1st event outdoors there will be a couple of rules that if you can't abide by then you are not welcome. 1. No weapons. If you can't handle being called names and your opponent talking about your mum or your car or your GF then battling is probably not for you. fighting and Bullshit ain't gunna be tolerated, there will be enough of us there to fuck those people off pretty quickly so keep ya head straight and have a good time and don't take shit Personally. 2. No fucking Fighting, rap battles always lead to some sort of violence but let's leave that shit out of this, it's a battle and it's for honing your Bars and having a good time, no wackness will be tolerated. 3. Judges descions are final no overturning there call. 4. Can bring as many heads to support you as you like but all the above rules apply to them too. 5. No talking while the battlers are spitting bars, reactions etc are of course allowed and Encouraged but no talking over other battlers while there spitting there rounds. 6. 30 seconds to 1 minute, the reason I have this time frame is some people don't want to spit longer rounds and that's cool so time will be called at the 1 minute mark if the MC is still spitting. Most importantly Lads we wanna have fun and practice spitting raps that's what this is all about, to better your Lyricism and continue to better your MC skills.
