25.01.2022 To all our guests, especially present ones, we are facing a very challenging situation within which it is easy to become misinformed, misguided, overwhelmed, scared and down right panicked. Covid-19 hasn’t reached Alice Springs and it hasn’t reached Alice Lodge. Nevertheless there are people that cross Australian border and are allowed to travel inland, even though the 14 day quarantine is supposed to be implemented. They do come to Alice Springs. They have arrived at Alice ...Lodge. Australian Government hasn’t given them clear enough information on what they supposed to do. They’ve let them get from one plane to another. The oversees guests can not afford to be isolated at a hotel and they are doing their best to quarantine at our hostel. And Alice Lodge supports them fully. They have NO SYMPTOMS of being infected with the virus. The NT health department had paid us a visit and advised what else we can do to make sure everyone is safe. We follow their advices fully. If anyone needs to voice their concerns about this situation,please talk to us in person, over the phone or message via FB. 15.01.2022 Red CentreNATS will look a little different this year, but we want you guys to know WE’RE ON! As part of the Red CentreNATS COVID-19 Safety Plan, the Podium P...arty will be replaced by an After Party at Lasseters with trophies awarded on conclusion of each event. A dedicated fan zone at Alice Springs Inland Dragway (ASID), with two super screens will be added to watch the action from the nearby track in lieu of open public access to The Hill. In line with physical distancing guidelines, only existing Chrome Pass holders, entrants and crews will have access to The Hill, which will have capacity of 500 people at any one time. 11.01.2022 During these trying times, while COVID-19 is still present, Northern Territory is the safest place to be in Australia. So if you’re already in NT and want to support tourism industry, come to Alice Springs and visit many tourists spots that have remained opened. Alice Lodge welcomes all short and long term guests, in all our private rooms and vans as well as in dorms - although those have limited beds now to ensure safety of our guests. We’ve completed our safety check list and have a COVID-19 safety plan in place. Let’s all help the tourist industry to recover!

05.01.2022 Alice Lodge will be shutting down from December 1st until January 17th, due to extensive renovations starting next week. We apologise to anyone who may want to stay in the coolest and friendliest hostel in the whole Australia but we’ll be back looking even better in January! So make plans to visit us next year and bring all your fiends with you - tourism and hospitality will really need all of the support we can get

04.01.2022 Co-owners of our beautiful hostel, Alicja and Patrick Bedford, with the help of Emu Run Foundation, have been raising money to support orphanages in Thailand through charity called Hands Across The Water. After reaching $12,000 they’ll be able to go on a 550km bike ride, at the end of which they’ll meet the kids they’ve raised the money for! How amazing is that!!!
