25.01.2022 Great weigh in today for the Alect Autos Competition. Thanks to Margie Ryder, our local council member for attending and sponsoring the bbq. We are now awarding ribbons to any under 10’s who catch a legal fish. Well done to Olly and Matilda this comp! Amayah won the kids draw. R and D Coleman’s Plumbing Members Draw didn’t go off, so $100 next comp is up for grabs. Congratulations to Karen Hancock for winning Senior and Ladies. Fishes to note this weekend... Clint Thomas caught a lovely red emporer and blue Maori and Karen caught a nice jobfish - pics below. Hope to see you next competition 19/20th Sept - Target Species Cod and Sweetlip. Margie Ryder

19.01.2022 Well done to our winners today at Comp 10 sponsored by The Automotive Specialist. Not many fish weighed in, it was tough going! Jack Thomas took out the under 10’s with an estuary Cod and Tracey Holmes took out the open and Ladies with a grunter. Alice Mitchell won the kids draw and Wally $100 members draw! Matilda Mitchell got a ribbon for her Bream entered into the under 10’s. Lots of sharks about! See you all in Lucinda in two weeks !

12.01.2022 Thanks to all that fished the Wally's Mobile Windscreens Lucinda weekend. It was hard going and the weather was not great but some fish were still caught. Thanks to Wally and Sharelle for sponsoring the weekend and for Stewie for providing the meat (seeing as Rob cound not provide the fish ) and cooking the bbq.

Thanks to Ingham Coast Guard volunteer Louis Morselli for this great photo taken from his drone today at low tide, showing the red ma...rker buoys leading into Dungeness. This shot shows that the sandbars have filled in the channel which used to exist at this spot, so it is up to individuals to ensure that you have sufficient water under your boat when attempting to cross the bar. The many gouges in the sand show the tracks of boats trying the "flat chat" approach method, - not recommended. See more
