16.01.2022 Alice River Trail Ride is going ahead and we now have a new starting point, pee week track and camping grounds. 2km south of Barcaldine on IRONWOOD Drive.

15.01.2022 Hi everyone With the weekend fast approaching we thought posting some updated information may provide answers to any questions you may have. 1. The camp grounds are located approx 1km south of Barcaldine on the Barcaldine/Blackall road. (Opposite puma fuel station) ... 2. Camping is available from Friday night. (We will update tomorrow whether fires are allowed on camp grounds) 3. Catering all day Saturday and Sunday with dinner at the Railway Hotel Saturday night. 4. Nominations will start around 7am Saturday morning there will be plenty of time for everyone to get signed on. (Under 15yrs $30, over 15yrs $50. Includes MA rec license for the weekend) 5. Reminder no quads on tracks including pee wee track. 6. Bring your mosquito repellant as the rain has brought them out. Thanks hope to see you on the weekend!

04.01.2022 Announcement Saturday Night the canteen will be providing a Pig on the Spit with Roast Vegetables. Other dinner options will also be available as well as desserts. We would like to give a big thanks to Dean Maloney at Alpha Quality Meats for providing the produce!

03.01.2022 Hi everyone, Barcaldine received around 5ml of rain last night which will make the trails awesome for the weekend. We are allowing campfires but are asking for no cans or other rubbish to be left in them. Will post the map of loop 1 tonight and will have the maps for 2 & 3 tomorrow at some stage. Thanks
