25.01.2022 As we have posted recently, Alice has returned to her shop in Mortdale and is now able to take bookings for remedial massage and has completed the necessary training for Covid19 Infection Control. She is taking bookings so as to appropriately manage the social distancing provisions within the State Health Orders which are currently enforceable. For anyone who requires further assurance that Alice is operating within the law, please refer to the link in this post.... This is from the Australian Traditional Medicine Society with whom Alice is a fully trained and registered member. We hope to see you for an appointment soon.

22.01.2022 Just a further post regarding Alice Massage. Alice has, on site, the email from her Association stipulating the fact that all Therapeutic Massage Shops can not only re-open for business, they in fact should never have closed. They always were regarded as Essential services. It was only a mis-communication from the Department of Health where they failed to stipulate the difference between Therapeutic Practices and those that are generally known as Parlours. Obviously there is a large difference in Therapeutic outlets and Parlour outlets in so far as hygiene is concerned. The fact that very few have re-opened is not a reflection on the legality of this issue. That is their individual decision.

22.01.2022 Alice is back. Open from Wednesday 22 April..9.30am. Phone Appointments preferred.Advice from NSW Health via our Association is that we can open as and from Wednesday. Remedial massage is now considered essential. I am sure those in the medical profession would agree. We look forward to seeing all our clients again, and whilst things won't return to normal for quite a while, nothing will change with the quality of service or the dedication to clients. please phone us on 9579-2767 for an appointment.

21.01.2022 Hi to all our valuable clients. We seem, our community, to have got through the Pandemic relatively unscathed and hope it continues to be that way. We thank you all for your patience and hope now that life is almost back to what we call normal. I am open 7 days, 9.30am to 6pm. Appointments are becoming increasingly more necessary by virtue of volume and the necessity to maintain a Covid free environment. I look forward to seeing you all for many of your ailments including "Frozen shoulder", "Tennis elbow", muscle spasms, general aches and pains. 11.01.2022 Hi to all our valued clients. We are well and truly in the depths of winter. Worse still the Covind10 virus has reared it's head again. As a precaution we have drawn up a list of known hot-spots, particularly relating to the Crossroads Hotel and surrounds. Prior to any treatment we ask you all to follow the checklist, (available on our front counter) and if you have been at any of those places, unfortunately you will have to leave our precincts forthwith and enter isolation as per NSW Health guidelines. It would seem that until a vaccination has been implemented in the community, these sporadic outbreaks will continue. We must all hop into the horse collar and fight this together. Stay safe. Alice.

10.01.2022 Hi all and a happy Easter to you. I trust you have not strained any muscles by falling over an easter egg, or suffered tennis elbow opening chocolates. Hope springs eternal for all of as far as re-opening is concerned, however there is no indication how far away that is. You can rest assured that Alice Massage will re-open at the first available opportunity and we hope we are able to provide plenty of notice. In the meantime, stay safe and happy. Best wishes Alice.

08.01.2022 Hi to all clients...we have been open again for a month after the enforced closure. I would like to welcome all our new clients, of which there have been many. Thank you. It has been noted that some massage shops, particularly in Hurstville Westfield, are yet to re-open. This is because they do not have sufficient qualified practitioners to do the work. This should be noted for the future. Many of their therapists do not have valid certificates to practice. I am fully q...ualified and update my skills regularly by attending seminars. It is part of our licence that conditions that we have to attain a top level for it to be renewed annually. We look forward to seeing you soon. Frozen shoulder, back spasms, neck/shoulder injuries, sciatica, muscle injuries all respond to my treatment. For some added luxury ask about our cupping and hot stone treatment. 08.01.2022 Just a reminder Alice Massage has re-opened and is operating under normal Pandemic precautions. There is a small questionnaire to complete prior to treatment and hand wash as well. 05.01.2022 Just a quick but important acknowledgement today in that it is the anniversary of Florence Nightingale, the lady with the lamp. We offer our greatest respect to all Nurses today and every day for the great job they do. We have several Nurses who are regular clients. I won't divulge their names due to confidentially reasons, but they know who they are. Very special people indeed. Thankyou on behalf of Alice Massage.

03.01.2022 Hi everyone. I hope all our clients are well, Covid free and happy. We are all still picking our way through the minefield that is Covid-19. Just need to remind everyone that vigilance against this virus cannot abate. Part of our strategy is to record particular details of each client, record their temperature and provide hand-washing material. It is important to note that all details supplied by you are not divulged to any other entity, (unless of course there is a necessity to supply NSW Health), and no other person can view them. They are not computerised so therefore not susceptible to hacking, and not used for advertising purposes. With Fathers day approaching, why not shout the old boy a massage.
