24.01.2022 Yesterday, the WA Government introduced amended laws to State Parliament protecting residential tenants from eviction and shielding them from rent increases for... the next six months to support those who have lost income as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. 02.01.2022 VACANCY DROP CONTINUES https://bit.ly/2FPTH14 Calling all owners and investors yet again! While our vacancy rate remains at 0% for many of our usual locations here at Peard, Perth's figure continues to dip, with reiwa.com reporting an 0.96 per cent rate; the lowest in 13 years! ... This is only the third time the rate has dropped below 1 per cent in 40 years. While this situation would ordinarily see investors entering the market, the State Governments Residential Tenancy Laws are set to remain until March 2021. Obviously, this is causing investors to be understandably hesitant while they wait for further confirmation of the laws end to make any moves, but regardless of the situation, these laws shouldn't be around forever, so it's certainly worth at least taking a look at what's out there!
