15.01.2022 Today we had a partnered workout. Partner 1 did 20 seconds of work while partner 2 had an active rest period. Plank hold, squat hold, squat pulses to name a few. Rest??? Really??? The ladies showed how their endurance has improved and how strong they are getting as we venture into week 9. 07.01.2022 Check out Adrienne's perfect form on her chest flys today using the resistance band. Resistance bands are a great piece of equipment to have. They can engage your muscles just like conventional weights (dumbbells and barbells), however are a little easier on the joints as they use tension not gravity. When performing the resistance band chest fly, allow your hands to go back as far as you can to get a good stretch, then contract using your chest so that your hands meet at ...the center in front of you. Your arms should be slightly bent at the elbow and try to keep your shoulders down and back at all times. So now you are all set! It can help with muscle recovery and soreness, but it also has lots of other benefits too including; It can help improve flexibility, and, consequently, the range of motion of your joints.... Here are some tips to perfect the movement; ... Perform the movement with a controlled pace, not allowing momentum to contribute. Do not start the press until the curl has been completely finished.
