I know a lot of families and loved ones ...have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Also well done Victoria on recording the 24th day in a row today of zero new cases of community transmission. NSW also recorded its 16th straight day today. These are great steps towards COVID normal, but now is not the time to be complacent. We all need to keep doing our bit and keep being COVIDSafe.

We're helping 250,000 low-income households replace their old heater with an energy-efficient electric heater and cooling system saving them up to $900 a year. We're also improving the energy efficiency of over 35,000 social housing properties through heating, cooling and hot water upgrades plus replacing seals on windows and doors. And because no one should have to choose between keeping the lights on and putting food on the table, we're providing $250 payments for eligible concession card holders to help with immediate costs. It's all part of the biggest household energy efficiency package of any state, ever supporting thousands of jobs all up, saving families hundreds every year and helping to drive emissions down. This past winter has been a long, hard slog. More time at home has meant bigger bills. And this investment will help Victorians not just get through today but plan for tomorrow too.
