I always stay humble with my experiences bit believe at times it is totally ok and acceptable to celebrate your achievement and do a HAPPY DANCE around the kitchen... 02.01.2022 COVID 19// Today i packed up my makeup suitcase and I cried ..... I cried for myself ..my kids ...for the world i live in.... I cried for my brides who have postponed their weddings... I cried for fellow friends who have had to make the same decision today as me and close their beauty and hair salon doors. I cried not knowing when I will be able to bring joy to people's faces again and do something i love so much. I cried... because like everyone I just want it to be over ...But it's not ..and won't be for some time. Who knew world war three could start at a time like this .......and that our enemy would be invisible. But in times like this we are reminded that what we have should never been taken for granted. If you have shelter , food , water and your family......then you really do have everything. Take this time to reconnect with your soul and take care of those you love . 02.01.2022 CORONA VIRUS AND WEDDING SEASON// Well ......never in a million years did I ever think i would be writing such a strange unprecedented post and yet here we are...... Let's face it ...everyone has heard the C word.... Some people it has affected directly and others like me apart from having some difficulty getting some supplies at the shop it hasn't really.... Well that was until today at least. Tonight i was completely gutted by a message received from a beautiful bride due to be married in April. Her whole wedding postponed due to corona virus. Family travelling plans have been destroyed due to travel bans within countries, her family cannot enter Australia for her wedding day. Whether we want to listen or not corona is out their affecting people lives even on the biggest most special of days. So..heres my pledge to you. If your big day or special event gets postponed due to this virus, i will do my utmost to help you reschedule, if i am unavailable, I will link you to the many beautiful people In my network to make your day a success. Here's what you can do for me Please use commonsense..if you are travelling please self isolate after ! If you have or have been around someone with covid 19 please don't book in. I'll use my commonsense and wash everything I use between clients in anti bac wash and use disposable tools where I can.
