24.01.2022 CELEBRATION IN THE HEART WEEKEND UPDATE. The cross is finished and painted and looks great. Thank you for everyone that has helped to make this a reality. We are still having the weekend although we have not got permission from Land Council to raise the cross (although the Traditional Owners want the cross). There is a meeting on Tuesday and I believe we will have the permission we need but it will be too late for the footings to be dug and the concrete to dry in time to st...and the cross. We are planning to dig the footings on Friday afternoon, followed by a weekend of celebration which will end on Sunday afternoon. People have already started arriving to help with preparation, a lot of people from communities in Central Australia and people from most states of Australia are coming. It will be a great weekend. We are excited about what God is already doing and going to do this weekend. We will raise the cross on another weekend (date not yet set). See more
21.01.2022 These Champions travelled from Victoria and Qld to help finish the cross and paint it. Well done everyone that has helped to build the cross!! It is amazing how God brings along the right people at the right time.
