24.01.2022 We are OPEN ! ! ! Covid19 rules... Had a few messages asking if we are open for business. The answer is yes with the caveat that you must not be sick or in quarantine and we adhere to best practice in regards to social distancing etc... The same goes for me. I'll keep working as long as I'm healthy and no one with the illness comes in close contact with me or my family. Take care out there.

24.01.2022 This is a plea to our community. Sunshine Coast RDA is a not for profit organization that relies soley on volunteers, fund raising events and grants. All of our... fund raising events like our very popular Open Day and Scone Off, and others, have had to be cancelled this year. Also, some of our fee generated programs have been postponed. We have had some help from the government but, the bills keep coming in. We may not recover as quickly as other businesses, due to the physical distancing limits and type of work we do. Could we ask if everyone donated a little it would go a long way. Many thanks in advance. 17.01.2022 EQUESTRIAN QUEENALAND CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE 31 March 2020 Equestrian Queensland will continue to provide members with regular updates regarding the e...volving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. On Sunday 29 March 2020, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced further restrictions on Non-essential Gatherings. The advice; Stay at home unless you are; Going to work or education (if you are unable to do so at home) Shopping for essential supplies such as groceries, return home without delay Going out for personal exercise in the neighbourhood, on your own or with one other Attending medical appointments or compassionate visits. https://www.health.gov.au//limits-on-public-gatherings-for Further to the above the Queensland Government also issued a Home Confinement Direction on 29 March 2020; The direction requires all Queensland residents to stay in their homes except for: shopping for essentials - food and necessary supplies; medical or health care needs, including compassionate requirements; exercise with no more than one other person (unless from your household); providing care or assistance to an immediate family member; work and study if you cant work or learn remotely. https://www.health.qld.gov.au///home-confinement-direction We also note the additional public health direction and advice from Queensland Health; Restriction in Private Residences Direction That no more than 10 people be present at the residence at any one time https://www.health.qld.gov.au//restrictions-in-private-res Therefore Equestrian Queensland provides the following advice; All Equestrian Queensland affiliated events are to be suspended until further notice If you can stay home, you should stay home If you need to travel to care for your horse/s, including food, water, exercise etc. you need to comply with all Commonwealth and State health directives That members who provide agistment services from their place of residence need to comply with the Restriction in Private Residences Direction from Queensland Health and ensure that no more than 10 people are present at any one time whilst complying with social distancing and hygiene requirements That clubs and commercial affiliates who provide agistment services from their property need to comply with the government directions, social distancing and hygiene requirements That all activity should occur on the property where the horse is located i.e. do not transport your horse to attend a riding lesson That coaches conduct lessons with a single student only at the property where the horse is located and in accordance with all government restrictions, social distancing, hygiene requirements and guidelines from Equestrian Australia and Equestrian Queensland That veterinarians and other professional services such as farriers are permitted to attend properties as required whilst complying with all government restrictions, social distancing and hygiene requirements It is important to note that this information is for members located in Queensland. 16.01.2022 I had never had a chiro before and I found frank on Facebook and contacted him about an issue I was having with my mare. After 1 session she is much more relax...ed and moving freely! Frank explained everything he was doing and makes sure I knew exactly what was causing my mare to be off and I loved that! Couldnt recommend him enough!

11.01.2022 We've had Frank work on two of our horses with awesome results! The first was a Clydesdale x who was showing signs of becoming head-shy and weakness in the rump... and back legs. After her adjustment she can now be touched between the ears without a reaction and we are seeing her rump gain muscle and strength where it should be!! The second was a Friesian x who's left side was out in 3 different places. After a 20 Min adjustment there was an immediate difference - No flinching when pressure was applied, the horse stood straight rather than a body curve to the left and the horse just wanted to yawn and sleep. Frank is wonderful with them (calm and kind) and is happy to educate you on everything he is doing so that as a horse owner we can understand the process and how to help the adjustments to hold. An awesome guy who does great work with obvious results. Thank you!!

03.01.2022 As many of you are aware, due to the COVID-19 outbreak many businesses are suffering, due to government restrictions we have had to close the riding school. All... of our school horses and ponies depend on the income we get from public lessons. This is used to keep them fed, healthy and happy. We have managed to find pasture for some of the horses, others remain close to home and require feeding morning and night. We plan on reopening the riding school as soon as possible but as you can imagine the cost of feed, vet and farrier is extensive and unmanaged at the moment due to no income. We are asking the greater community to help us in this time of hardship, we want to reopen the doors with happy and healthy horses on the other side. See more
