25.01.2022 I have thrown myself into the world of film photography and darkroom development this term at the Centre for Creative Photography, Adelaide. Loads of learning and a lot of laughing. Im really looking forward to continuing to play with film and further exploring this series of The Central Markets on Film.

24.01.2022 I absolutely LOVE doing photos for The Wyatt Trust's annual report each year. They're an amazing foundation who support such a wide variety of awesome projects. It's always a fun day to go around and photograph different people who do amazing work with the support they receive.

24.01.2022 Assessment time at the CCP... Here are a few images from my series The Reading Space. "This collection of images explores the idea of The Reading Space; where we become distracted from our surroundings and find focus and meditation in the written word. I have aimed to address this concept within different types of reading, in different places and with different intentions. Capturing people absorbed in their own reading space needed to show the intimacy and privacy of their connection to what they are reading. I wanted to show the oblivion that the subjects had of their surroundings, regardless of how busy or dominating the environment was. The challenge was to capture a space that has no physical presence and to make it stand out amongst everything else that was happening within the frame."

22.01.2022 It's been one year since the Sampson Flat Bushfires wreaked havoc across our beautiful Adelaide Hills ... thinking of those still rebuilding and recovering and always appreciative of the selfless and dangerous work our amazing firies do. #sampsonflatfires #oneyearon #thankyoufiries #cfs

20.01.2022 I love this. "Its kind of a backhanded compliment when people ask what camera you used and say it takes lovely photographs," [Don Brice] said."Thats like telling Shakespeare he must have had a really clever pen. Skrambled Eggs is showing at the De La Liff Gallery in Rundle Place, Adelaide until January 15.

14.01.2022 SALA Festival is underway; a month full of awesome exhibitions all over the state. If you get a chance drop into the Old Woollen Mill at Lobethal for the Blankets Reimagined exhibition. Each artist (myself included) received pieces of Onkaparinga Wool blankets which they reimagined as contemporary artwork. The quality and diversity of work, from both established and emerging artists, is brilliant. http://hillsandart.blogspot.com.au/p/blog-page.html
