11.01.2022 Breastfeeding. I find it confusing how something so ‘natural’ can be so challenging. Too much, not enough, cracked nipples, mastitis, preferred sides.... I was told to express colostrum prior to Stellas arrival in case she had hypoglycaemia or my milk was delayed due to my gestational diabetes.. thankfully all was fine, but the angst of manually expressing for hours just to obtain 1 ml, really made me empathise with mums who struggle in their breastfeeding journey. And made me appreciate even more the fact that ‘fed is best’ @ Manly Beach, Sydney Australia

05.01.2022 Hello I thought it was finally time to swap sides of the lens and put a face to my name! After completing a very busy few weeks, I am now officially on Maternity leave.. just in time to welcome baby girl next week (and soak up some last minute 1:1 with my no.1 boy )... I’ll be conducting limited sessions from February 2021, and cannot wait to get back into doing what I love best - documenting young family life! Get ready for some more baby spamming soon....
