25.01.2022 Big kids need cuddles too Big miss was asking for wrap cuddles for the days in the red wrap before it was cool enough for me to put her up - because our air con broke. 21.01.2022 The knot is bigger than her head! The lovely cool, reading weather meant lots of wrap naps and snuggle time in Brisbane at the end of last week. Little D is past the sleepy newborn weeks and is rolling into contact napping like a champion. She'd much prefer to be in arms than in her Moses basket or portacot, but with broken air conditioning that has been really uncomfortable for this tired mama. The cooling off means at least we're not drowning in sweat while wearing. And whi...le the heat has been keeping her awake some days, this has been much more tolerable below 30. Thanks again for the Pash Handwovens traveller. She's beautiful and I wish I didn't have to return her. Three images. 04.01.2022 Ruck with candy cane chest belt (cccb) I bought a flat of strawberries yesterday and they need cutting and using our freezing. Miss D needs a sleep and still isn't great on her own. Back carry to the rescue. She's been back there a few times, and I'm still not great at the cccb. And, I've put her a little crooked on purpose because she's so small and her face gets sick on my neck if she's completely straight.... Id. 02.01.2022 Grandbabywearing Nan having a rest and a read while little bub finally naps. She's been fighting sleep all day, and I needed to get dinner finished while the big kids have a swim. The carrier means once bub was asleep both baby and nan can be much more comfortable for longer. Hopefully this results in a super nap through dinner, where for once I won't have to wear her.
