06.01.2022 It is easy to take the gift of reading for granted. Jennifer is about to turn 70 and has cerebral palsy - she has never learnt to read because she wasn't accepted into school. When I met her 12 months ago she could recognise a few words & had a goal of reaching level 12 readers. Being keen & determined are her strengths! She has read a series of 60 books & is starting to read her own mail. One day she hopes to teach people like her to read. So proud of her efforts & success. You are an inspiration & show that having a disability doesn't affect intelligence or stop you achieving! Big congratulations!!
