24.01.2022 The only thing more beautiful than your smile is your personality... This is what I was thinking during my recent personal branding shoot with Sarita Johan from SJ Coaching. People naturally gravitate to Sarita's infectious fun and energetic personality. I know I have. You just feel good when you are around her!... They say surround yourself with the people that inspire you, the dreamers and the doers. So I'm super thankful I've been photographing Sarita now for over 8 years. We first met in a business networking group, dominated at the time by males, and so as women do, we naturally leaned in and helped each other. Each of us new to running our businesses and digging deep to find the confidence to step into that new world. A wonderful friendship soon developed. From the first shoot to now, I've watched this beautiful lady with a keen interest and admiration, seeing the evolution of her business and the redesigning of her life. Fuelled by the desire to be more, Sarita walked away from her high-profile career, invested in self-development and became a NLP Master Practitioner and ADVanced Innermetrix consultant which has allowed her to deeply understand how people think and make decisions. This, along with her gorgeous personality that people can’t help but warm to, is why she is so good at what she does. Her unique blend of business and mindset coaching empowers her clients to identify their business blind spots and success blocks so they can prosper in both business and life. And now she is going global with her weekly radio show Build Your Core. I can't wait to see what this dynamic lady does next! Check out my latest blog to see more pics from Sarita’s shoot and links to her podcast and website https://www.alisonmcwhirter.com.au/personal-branding-sarit/ See more

Yup, 2020 goes down as the year that has challenged youYou’ve had to dig deep, you’ve had to make massive shifts and changes, to find that resilience time and time again, to persevere and overcome. 12.01.2022 What's your morning routine? I can't start my day without a celery juice first up, then it's a walk (something I've truely valued during lockdown), then generally cereal with fruit and a cup of tea when I get back home. The walk clears my head and tea time is when I focus on the day ahead. And there is one other very important thing...I always make my bed!... How do you start your day right? See more

04.01.2022 Friendly and approachable, the 'work with me' shot is perfect for communicating what it feels like to work with you You can easily create this mood by showing where you like to hang out while working or how you interact with your clients - a cafe, your lounge room or your office - the choice is yours. How are you telling your 'work with me story'?

04.01.2022 How would I explain my business to my 9-year old self? I help you become more visible so the people you love working with get to know, like and trust you! But if I can elaborate a little further....... My mission is to help you to magnify and amplify your brand presence for business success. My skill is in creating beautiful, quality imagery that helps you communicate your brand story. And my gift is making you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera so you can show your true essence and personality. See more

01.01.2022 Just like plants require sunlight and water, dreams take some TLC, too! Although my home is filled with low-maintenance succulents, I do know what it takes to keep my dreams alive! A can-do attitude...... Perseverance and resilience (especially this year!)... And, of course, hard work has kept the dream I had way back when I was 16 to become a photographer well and truely alive in my little world. What about you? How do you nourish your dreams?
