08.01.2022 Kalbarri National Park minatures 6x6" The beauty of this park never ceases to amaze me. I wanted to try and capture all of the beautiful forms in the rocks so I built up the gesso first before painting. Gives a lovely depth to the rocks

06.01.2022 Crazy day today, lots happening including my beautiful dog escaping which was a tad stressful, but in between everything I managed to put the final touches on my latest pastel pencil drawing. The endangered Northern Bettong, population estimated to be only around 1000 in a small area of Northern Queensland which is not good news for the species. I have learnt alot doing this commission, duplicating something that you have already done before can be very difficult especially when your techniques have changed quite a lot since you did the first piece..1. Don't give up 2. Believe in yourself 3. Trust your inner artist.
