24.01.2022 Happy two week anniversary to these two lovers Sarah and Toni were meant to be having an epic long weekend of wedding celebrations in Tasmania with the wonderful and talented @rachael_calvert_weddings doing the hitching (if you ever want to get married in Tassie, look her up!) Unfortunately, a not-so-little virus meant that those plans had to be postponed. But these two ladies just couldn’t wait any longer to call each other wife, so the lovely Rachael put them in touch wi...th me, and in less than 48 hours, we organised a gorgeous ceremony at Sarah’s brother’s home in the Southern Highlands. Around 20 close family provided the in-person cheers, while almost 100 more guests joined in via Zoom. Tassie celebrations are still in the works, but for now Toni and Sarah were able to enjoy the memory incredible moment when I announced YOU MAY NOW KISS YOUR BRIDE!

22.01.2022 I don’t have a favourite couples of course, I love all my couples equally but if I did, Tegan and James would be right up there! The first time we met, our one-hour business meeting somehow became a three-hour sesh featuring a bottle of rose (of course, I remained super professional the entire time ). I’ve shared so many laughs with these two lovebirds over the past 14 months, and their wedding ceremony was no different (James, do you promise to always leave a few Macc...as fries in the bottom of the bag for Tegan, even if she swears she doesn’t want any?) 17.01.2022 Hello lovers COVID-19 hasn't exactly been great for weddings in 2020 (in fact, most of the time I think the virus can go suck a ), but one of the wonderful things about being a celebrant is that I get to work with so many wonderful couples who are determined to make the best of the shituation. J & B had big plans for their big day, but when they were put on hold, they decided that they had already waited long enough. A big celebration is still on the drawing board, but today, they will elope in secret with just two friends as their witnesses.

We kicked off the ceremony with Jack walking down the aisle to 'Simply the Best', there was a group vow that ended with 90 people flipping the bird and yelling "FUCK YOU COVID", then Jess's Dad, John, saved the day when he jumped the fence and James' Bonded his way towards a very windy cliff to retrieve a runaway veil. 03.01.2022 Hello lovers meet just-wed Stefan & Emma. These two cheeky birds surprised the guests to their "engagement party" with a real-life wedding! I had the BEST time working with them, as both their celebrant and the MC for their reception at Café Montmartre. They both have such a cheeky sense of humour, so there was plenty of laughter, that is, until Em's dad, Ric, hopped on the mic to tell everyone how proud he was of them both and there wasn't a dry eye left in the house .
