16.01.2022 Ahh this is a bitter sweet post to write. Firstly I would like to thank all my wonderful clients who have continued to support my little buisness over the last 7 years!! 7 wow! What a mile stone! I created this buisness when I had my first son whilst beginning my Bachelor of Law Degree and wanted to spend my time at home with him whilst earning an income and it just grew from there. There has been many sleepless nights getting orders out on time however the reward of excit...ement on my clients faces always made it worth it! With that being said I now hold a wonderful part time position with a local firm in my dream job as a Junior Solicitor at Law to your door . I spent 6 years working towards this goal so it still feels very surreal having obtained it. It also makes me apprehensive to let this little buisness of mine go after years of work being put into it. However it has come to that time. As of the end of August I will no longer be taking orders. I am largely almost booked out for August already with only 1 booking remaining for next week and two bookings for August 21st-23rd. Unfortunately trying to juggle everything is starting to take its toll on my mental health and at the end of the day, I have to look after myself rather than working myself to the bone, not wishing to disappoint anyone by turning away orders. So its with both sadness and happiness that I am bringing Alis Sweet Treats to a close as of August 31st. If you are a client who already has an order booked after then please dont fret, your order will of course be completed as promised. Thank you for supporting a small buisness that allowed this Mum of 2x to stay at home with her children whilst studying for her career job. It means the world to me. On that note, Ill love you and leave you. Thanks for the memories
