INKA is a WA owned family business who does great things for our hospitals by equipping surgeons with industry leading technology equipment to look after our loved ones when they need it most. It was a pleasure partnering with INKA and building this facility for them. May they enjoy it for many years to come.
20.01.2022 The first floor suspended slab and two sets of stairs were poured at Our Lady of Mercy Campus in Australind yesterday. A massive 340m3 of concrete was poured, requiring 60 concrete trucks and two concrete pumps. All my life, since it started. Tell us what you do at Alita Constructions. I oversee the whole business/team and make sure we build great buildings!! What has been your biggest achievement while working at Alita Constructions? Starting Alita with only a few amazing people in the team, building simple buildings and now working with many amazing people in the team and building bigger and fancier buildings.... and Alita becoming a well known trusted building company in the Perth market. Also maintaining a good culture at Alita. What is your favourite cake? A good lemon meringue! What is your ideal way to spend your weekend? A mountain bike/surf with the kids, sharing a meal around open fire with family or friends, and going to church on Sunday to worship my Creator.

The pavilion was officially opened on Friday with the Roleystone Karragullen Cricket Club hosting their first games of the season over the weekend. 17.01.2022 What is Dewatering? Dewatering is used to describe the artificial means of removing groundwater or surface water for favourable condition of any construction. Normally, the dewatering process is done by pumping or evaporation. It is usually done prior to excavation for footing or to lower the water table that might be causing problems during excavations.

10.01.2022 This past Monday, we had a light pole installed at our Cross Park Pavilion site in Roleystone. These lifts are called spider boom lifts. They have a unique telescopic articulated boom design that provides exceptional up and over outreach specifications. 06.01.2022 What are footings? Footings are structural elements consisting of concrete. It can either be in a strip or pad footing form as per the photo below. Footings are the base of the building, holding it in place and providing support for the integrity of the whole structure. Cast-in holding down bolts (as seen in the photo) are embedded in the concrete footing, for the structural columns to be bolted too.
