05.01.2022 In two weeks time, I begin my new full time job which is both exciting and daunting! Because of this, I will no longer be offering regular tutoring services. I will still be able to do SAC/exam marking for teachers but my availability will be limited. Thank you for your support over the last twelve months; I sincerely appreciate it. In preparation for my new job, I am reading Joyful Strains, a collection of memoirs from 27 different migrants about their journey to Australia... and beyond. It is a wonderful read! My favourite story is written by Michael Sala, born in the Netherlands, and draws on his memories of Swarte Piet. As I read, I was instantly transported to Dutch Christmas parties with my Opa and the fear of seeing Swarte Piet, but still so excited about the many treats he would throw to us! I hope you have enjoyed some wonderful holiday reads! See more
