16.01.2022 Hi All! We have a NEW plan for Term 3 - with some OPEN STUDIO times starting up NEXT WEEK and thereafter... These will suit afterschool kids for Tuesdays afterschool (with me) or Thursdays (with Isabelle) - and also 2 x Saturdays per month! We are busy with LOTS of private bookings - mainly for NIDIS students and birthday parties, but can usually fit in some extras as required. Stay safe and sane! 11.01.2022 The kiln is on again for my first glaze firing since it has been reconnected... I just had a big OOPS moment (and panic attack) when I went to check on it and was greeted by a lot of smoke. Turns out it is a really stupid thing to leave a timber board lying on top of the kiln and covering the air hole!

10.01.2022 So lovely to have Talia and her beautiful 4th baby ‘CC’ come to visit in the studio yesterday. As you can see student Emily and I enjoyed a baby distraction!! Awwww so gorgeous, so small, so snuggly! Talia was my first ever employee with A Little Creative probably about 8 years ago now! - I am so glad she has recently moved back to the coast with her family so she can become more involved in the studio again when possible!

10.01.2022 I have a new employee Meg who is driving me crazy taking her role of ‘cleaning up the studio and getting me out of all my disorganised messes’ very seriously! It is very painful for me and we have to have a few fights as I have a tendency to keep everything - but the results are fabulous - and so is she! 07.01.2022 Another pottery-play (learning!) day for me again at @butterfactoryartscentre !! Frustratingly I have been a bit ‘on’ and ‘off’ with my wheel throwing lately - so doing a class to improve is very handy!! I was quite pleased to do a pretty ‘perfect’ pot on my last throw! - and the last two pics show what I learnt when it comes to JOINING a few wheel thrown pieces together to make a larger pot - this one’s not mine... but something I need to try soon... #pottery #clay #wheelthrowing #sunshinecoast

06.01.2022 I went for a drive yesterday to pick up more clay and some other items, and I was avoiding doing housework at home I let myself meander and take my time... I was delighted to discover I had ended up in Cooroy - so I went and visited the @butterfactoryartscentre - a place I have never been to before!!
