08.01.2022 Did you know your rugs like a little holiday in the sun? Whilst it is important to keep rugs away from regular exposure to direct sunlight, sometimes short-term exposure to sunlight is actually a good thing for natural weave rugs. Hanging the rug outside gives it a chance to air out and UV rays, as a natural microbe killer, give it a good dose of sunlight to reduce the likelihood that the rug will develop unpleasant odours from mold or bacteria and can even deter those pesky... mites that love to burrow in natural fibres. Gently hang your rug with care to avoid stretching or damaging the fibers, and be sure to take the rug indoors before evening so it doesn't absorb moisture from the night air.

05.01.2022 Hello world, Moya here, I thought I'd pop up to say hello and also remind myself with this image how beautiful that wonderful Moroccan sunlight washing over you, felt. For now, I have to relive these moments through pics, until it's ok to travel again. But it also highlights for me the new challenges of sourcing beautiful pieces for our collection. It's so much harder now, where once upon a time a casual stroll through the Medina hand picking the cream of the crop, is now an... arduous distance communication tag game, with wonderful people who you know are also struggling through these new times with their own hurdles. But the great news is, we have some gorgeous things coming all the way from Morocco and these stunning pieces will be arriving soon...
