21.01.2022 Hot weather is a major cause of aquarium fish stress. Some tips to help your fish through these hot days; make sure you don't overfeed, make sure your filters and air pumps are clean and working, keep an eye on the water temperature anything over 30C is danger zone. If you have any questions or concerns about your aquarium please post them here.

20.01.2022 If you have any questions about installing or maintaining your aquarium please comment below or post to the A Living Aquarium page. I look forward to helping.

03.01.2022 It's a good time to start partially water changing your pond to prevent an algae bloom in spring as the water temperature rises. Don't forget to add the chlorine neutralizer !

03.01.2022 Winter is about half way done here on the Sunshine Coast, Qld. Don't forget to make sure heaters are keeping your tank warm enough for your fish and keep up the water changes not just replacing water lost due to evaporation. Be careful of temperature shock replacement water can be much cooler than what is in your tank.
