22.01.2022 Feeling the burden of the Drama? So are we! One thing's for sure. If we've neglected our health in the past because we thought we'd 'get by'... well, we are rethinking that one! Here at AlkaWay we're actually the busiest we've ever been. ... And it always the same. People want to make sure their home and their food and their water are the safest they can make them. Personally, that means a daily support regimen of my 4 totally essential alkaline minerals in Alkaline Booster, a daily antioxidant powered AlkaWay Greens smoothie, and a daily dose of I LOVE H2 molecular hydrogen. Why H2? because as far as I'm concerned it makes EVERYTHING better! How do I know that? Because I ran out recently and FELT the difference. Oh yes! While I remember! We'll have our new shipment of Ultra I LOVE H2 tabs in mid August and are taking orders now. These are the same tabs that were tested by DRINKHRW labs to simulate the dissolving of the tabs both in the glass and in the stomach. By simulating stomach acid and measuring the molecular hydrogen the results came out at DOUBLE the H2 levels of our last batch and quadruple our original H2 tablets! Why is this so important? Because unlike an aspirin, H2 has no known side effects or 'overdose'. In all the studies it was found that if we can manage to consume a litre of water at 3ppm, that's enough to help us keep us active and happy. The new H2 tabs do that easily! Bang For Your Buck And as far as value for money.. it really IS all about how much H2 you get, not how many tablets are in a bottle. Cheaper can actually be more expensive because they don't deliver the bang for the buck! Also, ask about expiry dates. The tabs are hygroscopic and we've had to keep them in special humidifier storage. Why? Because we found they lost dissolving power as moisture penetrated the plastic bottles. So.. 19.01.2022 Some people say you can neutralise a glass of chlorinated water with a squeeze of lemon, because it has enough citric acid. Others say it's also an alkalizer in the body.. so how can it be both? And are either of these claims true?... Well, the first one is true if a helluva way to remove chlorine from your water. There are shower filters and some water ionizers that use citric acid as the neutralising medium. In the case of the shower filters, they forgot to mention that the acidic output water rusted all their lovely shower fittings. In the case of the #waterionizer.. well it gives them a point of difference.. but given the purpose of a water ionizer is to create #alkalinewater, it seems a mite dumb to be acidifying your input water, doesn't it? But to have to squeeze a lemon every time you drink a glass of water. Hmm.. Why not install an #AlkaWay #UltraStream, and remove the chlorine, the chloramines, the fluoride, the heavy metals and hundreds more nasties.. and just DRINK YOUR GLASS OF WATER? Re the alkalizing effect of lemons.. the theory goes that because we burn up acids in our normal metabolism, the citric acid is quickly used up by the body, while the end product, the alkaline minerals in the lemon, are left to add to your alkaline buffer. There's a third amazing fact about lemon juice and water from an electric water ionizer. So-Called alkaline water from such devices can have very little alkalizing ability. The water has had electricity passed through it which increases the pH of the water but adds no alkaline minerals. So that high pH glass of water will be neutralized in an instant by a few drops of lemon juice. We realised this years ago when we began designing the all-natural alkaline water filter, the UltraStream. Unlike electric systems, it adds alkaline minerals - the big two - magnesium and calcium to the water, thus increasing your inner storehouse of these essentials, helping you to be prepared for the next acid attack of stress, sugary and high carb foods etc.. etc.. etc..

There are a lot of powerful stories being disseminated, a lot of emotions exploding across the social media sphere. People are having tense conversations, often with friends and loved ones. People are hurting. People are scared. People are passionate, no matter where they fall in the discussion.... These are all real, legitimate emotions. But they are overwhelming ones. That can't be denied, and we all have a breaking point. Take a break. Schedule deloading periods. Do not watch this stuff on a constant drip. It will consume you. It will destroy you. All this media consumption gets stressful. Not only is it objective national media you can mostly view as "somewhere else," but it's also social media with people you know and with whom you have broken bread. People you've hugged and loved and from whom you now find yourself on the opposite end of what feels like a life and death issue. This is unhealthy. It's unsustainable. Think about your media consumption like an exercise habit. You need rest. You need to recover. You're no good to anyone if you're burnt out from watching 14 hour days of videos with violence, emotionally-charged imagery, and politicians fanning the flames. Go for walks. Turn off your phone. Let that battery die and go throw it in your car trunk if you can't stop yourself. Exercise. Physical training can counteract psychological stress. Go to sleep at 9 PM. Pet your pets. Play with your kids. Board games, table top RPGs, video games, movie nights, water balloon fights, BBQs.
