25.01.2022 Tigers are having a Party The Tigers men took on the top of the table Joondalup Giants today, in what is fast becoming a local grudge match. After going down narrowly in a tough and tight first round, the Tigers got the chocolates today in another tight affair 16-10. This is clearly becoming a much loved local Derby between the two clubs who have close ties, played in good spirits on the field and a great atmosphere off the field - Well played both teams!!

23.01.2022 . APPRECIATION POST We are so grateful to have so many amazing volunteers at our club and Lynette goes above and beyond. She is the Club Registrar and Head Sports Trainer for both Junior and Senior teams.... She spends all weekend at rugby from Friday nights with the Womens Premiership, Saturdays with our Seniors and all day Sundays with our Juniors. She also spends most days of the week and late nights all week sorting out and updating the clubs regos and fees, attending monday night meetings with the Club President each month and much more that would be an endless list. All this ontop of working fulltime and being a busy mum. She never stops and never complains. She is amazing and this club would not be here without her. Lynette, we are honoured to have had your support and dedication to the Alkimos Tigers since day one and we wish to offer you our heartfelt gratitude and thanks for all that you do

20.01.2022 It is with great sorrow that we had to hear of the passing of Wiremu Kahui this week. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and club the Ellenbrook Rabbitohs . As many of our members and senior players have have personally known him for many years either through friends and family or playing beside him and all of us who have played against him know him for the great competitor, friend, father and just the down to earth great person he was on and off the field. It i...s a massive loss not only for his family and club but for the game of rugby league. As we all prepare this morning to run out on that field today we know that we will all be playing with 14 on the feild as he will be right there in our hearts with us all. From our club to your family and club know that we are hear for you all. We hope that everyone can get down to one of the games today and help show your support anyway you can. Thank you to the Ellenbrook Rabbitohs Rugby League Club for hosting us and to all of our families for travelling the distance to represent our club Whilst our Womens League Tag had a bye this weekend, our Senior Men's team battled it out against Kalamunda Bulldogs. Our Tigers were unlucky to finish the day with a win to the Bulldogs.... 17.01.2022 Some fantastic news about our club rooms with a concept design now created and released for public comment with the city of Wanneroo, on the link below. It is a $3million 3 phase project with expected completion in the 2022/23 financial year. The Pavillion will consist of 6 change rooms, 2 stand alone kiosks, 4 storage rooms, club room, first aid room, umpires change room and toilet facilities. ... 14.01.2022 GAME DAY RESULTS! What a beautiful sunny day as we hosted the Willagee Bears Rugby League Club and Serpentine Jarrahdale Rugby League & Sporting Club on home ground yesterday! The vibe was awesome and it was great to see so many families supporting the kids and teams! Thank you again to both clubs for making the long drive, it was a pleasure to have you The Seniors battled it out on Saturday against South Perth Rugby League Club. The men fought hard but were unlucky... to finish the game with a win to South Perth. Our Womens League Tag played a stand out game with amazing defence and runs, showing a massive improvement as a team! Thank you to North Beach Rugby League Football Club for hosting us, with a special shout out to Alex Mauri for running water for our ladies today and is a constant support alongside Trudy Whaanga who has helped grow and develop the team. What a perfect spring day yesterday as we hosted North Beach Rugby League Football Club & Kalamunda Bulldogs on home turf for the final game of the season before we go into the finals round! Thank you to everyone who travelled to support your kids, teams and club. ... On Saturday, our Seniors enjoyed a local Derby against Joondalup Giants Rugby League Club with our Mens team extremely proud to take out the win! Our Women's League Tag also walked away with their heads held high as they played a great defensive game, really keeping the Giants on their toes and acknowledging their consistent improvement week to week! It's hard enough to face the cold dark mornings, let alone when it's pouring with rain and blowng a gale! We appreciate your time and effort Thank you also, to all of our parents who volunteer their time to help out in the canteen each week in support of their team, kids and the club. As busy families, we understand the juggling that sometimes needs to happen... in the background to make it possible and we are truly grateful for your help. A special mention must also be given to Sheridan-Leigh and her family, including her mum Denise, who volunteer their time in the canteen every single week as well as helping with set up and pack down. On behalf of the Alkimos Tigers, we offer our thanks, appreciation and gratitude for all that you do in support of our great club.

01.01.2022 BEHIND THE SCENES! There is a lot of work that goes into making our club a success, and it’s easily missed or not realised because so much is done behind the scenes. Whilst we all love our home games, it also involves a lot of work to make it a success. Did you know that setting up for game day begins in the cold, early hours of the morning, with preparations beginning at 6:30am! ... So a big shout out and thank you goes to all of our volunteers who choose to leave their warm comfy beds, some on their only day off, to help prepare our club for a day of league! You are seen, you are appreciated and we are grateful.
