25.01.2022 Five little ring tail possums are now in care with their beautiful registered carer. She now has 8 ring tail possums that need her love and expertise. Flynn and I have been out gathering some fresh native flowers and received these beautiful images after we left them this morning. They truly made our melt. It is sad though that they have lost their mums. A recent radio interview with our Hunter and Lake Macquarie wildlife rescuers mentioned that possums and birds lov...e snail bait and the consequences of using rat baits on our wildlife. They suggested consulting nursery staff on suitable wildlife friendly products to use in our home and gardens. Special thanks to our wildlife rescuers... We are so very grateful for your help in caring for our wildlife.

11.01.2022 Such a furry fun filled Sunday... Lexi was very excited to see her "pack" after a mini holiday. HOFF and BACON loved having eggs for brekky again... ... Rolly the "Assistance puppy doggy" was in training at Caves Beach. She's a Newcastle rescue doggy that has a very important job to do in the near future! We discovered a new trail today and met Henry an Italian Mastiff, who has also been rescued... 73kg... Wow!!! That's a really impressive size for a gentle giant! Maggie has just checked in and is looking forward to seeing RUFUS later in the week. It's been a very busy day and we'll be in bed before big dog! Sweet dreams furry friends x
