25.01.2022 Hey, hey Saturday 28th November 2020and it was a very nice day with good fishing. Sunday 29th November was a bit windy and very hot. But we managed to fill up a box with blue mackerel. Here is an extract from a Google search: Blue mackerel has a strong flavour and thin, edible skin with few scales. Mackerel can be fried, baked, poached, grilled, marinated, smoked and barbecued it is considered by some to be the best barbecue fish in the South Pacific.

23.01.2022 The weekend that was very mixed. Starting on Friday 3rd October with a kid’s birthday party and fishing Port Hacking. Lots of fun and really nicely managed by Marcel. Saturday and Sunday were very different with very murky ocean and cold water, around 17 to 18C. We don’t know what caused the conditions but the fish were not playing and the catch rate was very low. There’s a fisherman saying: It is called fishing, not catching!

22.01.2022 Kingies in Port Hacking riveryep that’s right. The weather forecast for Wednesday 30th December 2020 was within the range we are looking for, less than 20 knots and less than 2-meter seas. But the reality was different at just after 7 as we were heading offshore. Very rough conditions with swell from the NE and SE. Ok, let’s make it a day up the Port Hacking river. And it turned out to be a very pleasant day, nobody seasick and good fun with kingfish working Amanda and the guys hard and straightening the hooks.

20.01.2022 Reef fishing November 14 and 15 2020. How good was that weekend! Clear sky, calm seas and nobody seasick. And plenty of fish dinners for all

20.01.2022 It was a really nice Father’s Day weekend with lovely conditions on the Saturday and a little tricky on the Sunday. It was because the late wind on Saturday night chopped up the sea and made a few of our guests a little seasick. Remember to discuss sea sick tablets with your chemistit is a cheap insurance.

16.01.2022 The weekend that wasreally nice, with the exception of an unexpected strong NE wind and rising seas on Saturday mid-morning, 17th October 2020. And despite a strong wind warning, Sunday morning was calm with the sea like a mill pond. Fishing was good and amongst whales and dolphins we sighted an oceanic white tip shark. They are thought to have been among the most numerous pelagic sharks on the planet. But now they are all but disappeared because of commercial fishing and the shark fin trade.

14.01.2022 After two difficult weekends we finally found a good day. It hit us for a six with a nice box of quality fish. A little choppy in the morning but it turned out into a beautiful day. Apart from the fish being landed like, blue morwong, blue spotted flathead, leatherjacket, sweep, red rock cod, salmon, trevally and goatfish we found a big school of salmon boiling the surface. And it was also so nice to see a couple of humpback mothers and calves, close to the boat, going home to the Antarctica. Thank you, Chris, for your dinner pictures. I have also included a little video clip from early this morning with jelly fish in the light at the RMYC marina. Why do you askjust because I like it and thinking you might find it interesting?

14.01.2022 With a NE wind warning for the afternoon we took great care and came back with the wind after fishing under the cliffs off Kurnell. Very nice morning and a good catch with a box of mixed fish. On the run home across Bate Bay we found a school of kingfish. Good fun with quadruple hook-ups, but unfortunately all undersized.

09.01.2022 Sunday 20th December 2020. Gummy sharksthey are soo good. And the guys today did well with a trifecta! They freeze remarkably well and come up a million bucks when coated and lightly fried, or even used in fish curries. Enjoy the dogged fight of the gummy and savour the thick, moist white fillets you'll be privy to afterwards! It is one of Australia's premium eating sharks, excellent for children as there are no bones and can be used to make great fish nuggets.

06.01.2022 Hey, we just made it weatherwisea great morning with slight seas and light wind before the predicted strong wind warning with a southerly change, up to 30 knots late afternoon. And Phill’s team did really well with a box full of fish. We recommend https://www.decksbydesign.com.au one of the best in Sydney.

05.01.2022 Saturday 26th December 2020 was a great day with a happy crew and nice catch of fish. In addition to locals, we had five lovely guys from Zimbabwe, including the priest, and I learned a few things. The most common language is Shona, spoken by 70% of the population. Here goes: takava nezuva rakanaka pagungwa nhasi You work it out
